An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St Mary’s Special School is a school for children with Moderate, Severe & Profound General Learning Disabilities, as well as, Autism and complex needs. Experience working with children in a special school setting will be an advantage. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience and competency in augmentative communication and assisted teaching technologies for pupils with SEN, demonstrate the ability to lead a class team and have experience in coordinating Individual Education Plans.
