Supply / Substitute Teachers - London
Supply teaching in London is an excellent way to get to know schools in your local area and build up your experience. For alot of UK based teachers, supply work is the preferred choice, there are many reasons for this:
Less planning / assessing -giving you time to settle when relocating
Insight into lots of different great schools
Can lead to a permanent role in a school you know you love!
At Engage Education, we’ve spent over a decade making sure our supply teachers are happy and supported, and offer satisfying and reliable work. We have built an excellent reputation across various locations in London and developed strong links with schools.
At Engage, we recognise that when relocating a secure income is needed, that is why we have ‘Secured Guarantee Pay’ contracts available. These are supply work contracts that offer you all the benefits of supply work with the security of knowing you will earn the same amount each week.
Salary - Pay is paid at a daily rate which ranges from £135-£145 depending on experience.
About the role:
We are looking for teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis to cover both planned and unplanned absences.
What do I need?
A Teaching Degree at primary or secondary level and one year experience is desired
Flexibility, enthusiasm and motivation to deliver great lessons
Behaviour management skills
An ability to adhere to and implement schools’ various policies
