An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is a part-time post for 15 hours per week (7:30am - 10:30am, Mon - Fri)

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
*Maintenance of the school premises and contents (furniture, equipment, plumbing, fittings etc.)
*Maintenance of the school grounds
*Custody of the keys for all rooms (responsible for opening the school)
*General tidiness and some cleaning when necessary
*General DIY and repair work
*Inform Principal of maintenance matters and arrange suitable times/prices with support contractors
*Liaise with Principal re: progress of permanent school building where relevant
*Planning and recording of work

The successful candidate will:
* Be subject to Garda vetting
* Have a clear understanding of Health and Safety
* Work in line with the ethos of the school
* Have some relevant experience
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Be self-motivated and able to act on own initiative, as well as follow direction
