Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a new position within our school, offering a 0.83 SNA post, equivalent to the duration of an infant day schedule.
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per DES Circular 0051/2019.
The appointment will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
Candidates must display a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further professional training.
The duties of the post will be subject to the needs of the school and may change accordingly.
Candidates must be available to complete Croke Park Hours throughout the school year. They must also be available for yard supervision.
The successful candidate will be required to uphold the Catholic Ethos of the school.
Experience working in a primary school with pupils with various care needs; such as feeding, toileting and medical needs, ASD and sensory challenges are all desirable. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with the management of behaviours of concern and the promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
Applicants currently on the SNA Supplementary Panel should include a copy of their panel form (PF1) with their application. Please ensure that all referees provided are relevant and contactable.
