Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Holy Family G.N.S. is advertising for the following SNA positions.
- 2 x Full Day Positions
- 1 x 0.83 Position
Holy Family G.N.S will amalgamate with Holy Family B.N.S in September 2025 and will accept mixed classes of Junior Infants from that date.
Duties of the post are as outlined in the Department of Education Skills 0030/2014 and other relevant circulars.
The post is subject to continued NCSE allocation and SENO review.
Applicants must demonstrate the specific competencies and requirements to meet the special educational and care needs of children.
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as set out by the DES Circular 0051/2019.
Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic, demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training and respect the Catholic ethos of the school.
Applicants should have experience and relevant qualifications in working with children with a broad range of abilities.
Successful candidates will be expected to complete any extra hours as determined by DES Circular 71/2011, throughout the year.
Appointments are subject to confirmation of qualifications, current Garda vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of the online Túsla Child Safeguarding training.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the Supplementary Panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel Form 1 (PF1) with their application
