An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are seeking: 1 Mainstream teacher.
Desirable Skills include:
* Experience of teaching at an infant class level.
* Experience of supporting children with Autism and ADHD in
the Mainstream setting.
*Experience or knowledge of Restorative School Practices and
Nurture Schooling.
* Knowledge and experience of working in a Developing School
setting.
* Appreciation of the Educate Together ethos.
* Flexibility and teamwork skills.
Woodstock Educate Together is a developing school with over 120 students. We are based in an area experiencing a lot of new development, as such the number of students and staff in our school is increasing each year. As a developing school there are always opportunities for new teacher to develop and grow their own range of skills and experiences within a dynamic school team. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, kind and supportive setting. We are involved in numerous initiatives and endeavor to give the students in our school opportunities to learn both inside and outside the classroom.
*All new employees must be Garda Vetted under the new arrangements made with the Teaching Council. We must have proof of this before a teacher is allowed to take up work. Teachers will also have to complete OHS with Medmark prior to taking up the role.
