2 Bus Escorts Required.
Route 1 Bus Escort required for 20 hours per week.
The escort must be available in the mornings (approx 7:15am- 9.15am) and afternoons (1:55pm- 4pm)
Route 2 Bus Escort required for 19 hours per week.
The escort must be available in the mornings (approx 8.15am- 9.30am) and afternoons (1:15- 3.45pm)
(These times are subject to change once the route is established)
The escort will accompany a pupil on taxi/bus transport from their home to and from school.
The escort must have their own transport to and from the pick-up and drop off point which will be agreed with Bus Eireann.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the child on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting the child getting on and off the bus, securing appropriate seat belts etc.
Appointment is subject to Garda vetting and appropriate character references.
Commencement Date - As soon as possible.

The hourly rate of pay is €13.40 per hour, in line with the Department of Education and Skills guidelines for school bus escorts
These positions will require availability to work five days per week in accordance with the school calendar.
