An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applications are invited for substitute teacher to cover a maternity leave in our class for children with Severe and Profound General Learning Disabilities and complex needs, Rang Naomh Eoin.
Desirable criteria
Experience teaching in a special education setting for children with Severe, Profound and complex needs, will be an advantage.
The ability to build positive relationships with students and their families
The ability to work within and lead a class team
Experience co-ordinating Individual Educational plans in consultation with outside agencies

We are looking for a teacher who is flexible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of the children and the school and who has an interest in the education of children with severe and complex needs.
The ideal candidate will be kind, enthusiastic, energetic, can contribute to our team and work on his/ her own initiative.
The successful candidate must be willing to undertake training and CPD which relates to the needs of the children and the school and must be available to complete Croke Park Hours throughout the school year.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect student confidentiality at all times, as well as uphold the Catholic Ethos of the school.
