An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Kolbe Special School catering for pupils with a severe and profound learning disability and those with an additional diagnosis of autism.
Kolbe has a student population of 45 pupils, 10 teachers, 23 SNAs, 13 Bus Escorts, 2 Nurses, caretaker and secretary.
The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team, have a strong work ethic and disply a commitment to the ethoes of the school.
All appointments are subject to sanction from the Department of Education.
