St. Declan's, 35 Northumberland Rd, Ballsbridge require a bus escort (to be collected and dropped off from Cloncilla/ Drumcondra or the surrounding area) to accompany and support 3 pupils to and from school each day. This positions will require availability to work five days per week in accordance with the school calendar.
The escort should be available between 7.35 am and 9.10 am in the mornings and between 1:45 pm and 3:45 pm in the afternoons (These are approximate times and may be subject to change).

Drumcondra or the surrounding area is the meeting point with the bus driver and escorts must have their own transport to and from the pick-up point.

The hourly rate of pay is €13.40 per hour, in line with the DES guidelines for school bus escorts.

Duties will include:
* Escorting the pupils safely to and from school.
* Liaising with school staff and parents/guardians when necessary.
* Assisting the pupils to board and alight from transport safely and ensuring that the pupils are received by the responsible adult at each set down point.
* Ensuring the pupils are seated and wearing a safety belt for the duration of the journey.
