An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management welcomes applications from experienced SNAs (Additional Needs Assistants – ANAs) who are enthusiastic about working with children with additional needs in our Mainstream and Autism Classes. There is a 0.83 hours position, a 0.5 hours position and a full day (Job Share) position.

Killester Raheny Clontarf ETNS is a developing mainstream primary school which opened in 2019 under the Educate Together ethos and has been located in Killester College of Further Education since September 2022. We have Junior Infants – Fourth Class and when fully developed, we will have 8 Mainstream Classes and Two Autism Classes.

We are growing a Restorative school whose values are very much in line with the RP FRIENDS Values. As an ANA joining our dedicated team, these positions are a fantastic opportunity to work in our school.

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed ANAs who will play a key role in the growth of our developing school. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of working with Autistic children and who are willing to collaborate positively with our dynamic team for the benefit of the children in their care. An understanding of the Educate Together ethos and the use of positive behaviour strategies is beneficial.

The successful candidates for these positions will be appointed to work with pupils in our Mainstream and Autism Classes. Candidates should be willing to engage in professional development to enhance their role. They will also be subject to current vetting requirements.

Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel are required to state this in the letter of application and attach the relevant PF1 Form.

Please note, due to the expected volume of interest we will not be in a position to reply to each applicant. Interviews will provisionally be held in person on Tuesday the 5th of November, 2024. Applicants who are shortlisted will be given a minimum of 7 days’ notice to attend for the interview and should reply by email to accept or decline the interview. The email will outline the criteria for the interview.
