- Experience of working with people with autism, and behaviours which challenge,
in a special class environment is essential.
- Attending to care needs will be a core duty.
- Experience of working as part of a large team will be important.
Many of our pupils have additional needs in addition to autism:
ADHD, EBD,ODD requiring behavioural management skills,
Physical disabilities requiring physical care,
Sensory impairments requiring frequent OT and medical needs.
