An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is a 0.83 Infant Day Position. It relates primarily to our Mainstream setting but may relate to our ASD Class attached to our mainstream school in the future. Duties include but not limited to supporting pupils with a variety of care (physical in particular) & behavioural needs. Duties also include supporting pupils with communication difficulties & assisting pupils with intimate/ toileting and medical needs. Certification in First Aid is desirable. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be ready to work in a busy, challenging, yet rewarding environment, respect the ethos of our school & be willing to work in collaboration with all stakeholders. Evidence of CPD in the area of Special Education & experience of working in
other education settings is advantageous. The suitable candidate must display an ongoing commitment to CPD.
Relevant qualifications as per DES requirements are essential. The appointment is subject to but not limited to Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening & satisfactory references.
