An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are currently updating our substitute SNA list for the 2024/25 school year.

Waterford ETNS is a welcoming and inclusive school. We currently have 16 mainstream classes and 2 Autism Classes.

We welcome applications from SNAs who are excited to work with children with additional needs in our mainstream and Autism Classes. We currently have 14 SNA's in our school.

Substitute work will be subject, but not limited to, current Garda vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references. Relevant qualifications required, as per DES requirements.
