An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is 0.83 of a full time post (infant day). This position is over a five day week.
Garda Vetting, references/referees are required. A strong work ethic, flexibility regarding work arrangements, attendance at further training/CPD, willingness to support school activities, working independently & with other SNAs, working under the direction of the class teacher, SEN coordinator and principal are all requirements. Experience with children with ASD, medical needs, intimate care/toileting, communication and behavioural needs would be an advantage.
