An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

-Applicants must have the required qualifications as per Department of Education.
-Experience of working in a primary school with children with complex special educational needs, medical needs, intimate care / toileting needs, communication needs and behavioural needs.
-Candidates will need to demonstrate their experience and ability to manage pupils presenting with challenging behaviours.
-Candidates must also demonstrate their ability to work as part of a school team under the direction of the class teacher, SEN Coordinator and Principal.
-The successful candidate must be willing to engage with ongoing professional development.
-The appointment is subject to Garda Vetting, Occupational Health Screening and the approval of our Patron.
