An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The full day SNA position has become available due to a job sharing arrangement and the Junior/Infant day (.83) SNA position has become available due to an increase in allocation.
Both contracts are fixed term for the school year 2024-2025.
Applicants must have qualifications as per Department of Education Circular 0030/2014. Candidates must be able to work as part of a team, be flexible and have experience working with children with additional needs. Duties will involve supporting pupils in our special classes and mainstream classes. Particular experience with ASD is recommended.
