Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The DE has sanctioned the setting up of a panel, mainly in the Howth, Portmarnock, and Malahide area, consisting of 4 teachers.
The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of 9 schools for teachers who are absent on short-term substitutable leave.
Supply panel teachers will be appointed to Scoil Mhuire, Howth Primary School. (the base school) under a fixed-term contract from 01/09/2024 until 31/08/2025 and teachers.
Please note the following:
-Supply panel posts count towards CID
-Travel expenses are payable as per Circular 0009/2015
-Teachers will be paid for July and August
We will be seeking to fill these positions as swiftly as possible. As a result, candidates may be called to interview earlier than the standard designated timeframes in order to supply the other cluster schools with a sufficient number of teachers.
Appointments are subject to current Teaching Council Registration, Garda Vetting requirements, and Occupational Health Screening.
