An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The vacancy is for 0.33 of a standard post. These hours are to completed over 5 days per week.

Immediate duties for the post will be in the mainstream classes. The successful candidate can be allocated to any SNA role in the school at any time, at the discretion of the school principal.

The successful candidate will have the option of working an extra 5 hours a week in Derrinabroc After School daily between 1:50 to 2:50 (infant hour) and will be paid for by Derriabroc Afer School Committee for this.
