Additional Information:
The BOM of St. Peter's National School are seeking a bus escort for the coming school year.
The bus escort will accompany pupils on a bus from their home to and from school. The successful applicant must be available in the mornings and afternoons 5 days a week term time.
The post is allocated to be 10 hours a week TBC
Duties include:
Escorting pupils safely to and from the school
Liaising with school staff/bus driver and parents/guardians where necessary
Assisting the pupils on and off the bus safely and ensuring that the chidlren are recieved by an adult at each set down point
Ensuring that the child is seated and wearing a seatbelt for the duration of the journey
The hourly rate of pay is in line with the Department of Education guidelines
for School Bus Escorts
All applicants will be subject to garda vetting.
