An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Fermoy Educate Together National School is a developing school which opened its doors in 2018. We have steadily grown since then and now have children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.

We are looking for a teacher for 1st and 2nd Class. Our school is warm and welcoming and nurture is at the heart of everything we do in Fermoy ETNS. We have a really strong team who support each other day in day out and we try to have lots of fun along the way.

We have one full time teaching position (25hrs) which is made up of three separate contracts- please read the information below carefully.

Fixed Term- 7.5hrs- This contract is from 1st September 2024 until 31st August 2025. These hours will be paid pro rata over all the school holidays including the Summer.

Principal Release Day- 5hrs of non casual substitute hours per week during term time only

EAL Hours- 12.5hrs of non casual substitute hours per week during term time only

By combining the three sets of hours above the school has a full time teaching post which will be based in 1st and 2nd Class for the year.
