Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Enable Ireland Sandymount School is a special school for students aged 4-18 with physical and complex needs.
The curriculum is adapted for our students. We offer L1LP and L2LP.
Experience working with students with SEN is desirable but enthusiasm, interest and dedication to working with the students to develop them to their full potential. The ability to work as part of a team is a necessity.
Applicants should also demonstrate a professional, flexible, self-motivated and caring approach to the role and display initiative in working with pupils with complex needs. Applicants must have a teaching council number.
It would be desirable for candidates to have experience of working in a special school.
Shortlisting may apply and only those shortlisted will be contacted by email. This post will be filled in accordance with Department of Education guidelines and circulars, medical fitness from Medmark and Vetting disclosure from the National Vetting Bureau.
