An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
New Court Special School caters for students aged 5-18 who have Mild General Learning Disability (MGLD) and complex additional special needs. (ASD, ADHD, Epilepsy, Down Syndrome)
This post arises from additional allocation to the school on a temporary basis, from the NCSE. It is for a fixed term of one school year.
Suitable candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic and have excellent communication and written skills. Must be proficient in using computers and email.
Experience working with students who have complex behaviour care needs. They must be flexible and willing to work with all students in the school and as part of a class team.
Training will be provided.
SNA Level 6 or similar qualifications are desirable.
Only standard application forms will be considered.
