An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are looking for suitable candidates who have excellent interpersonal skills and are flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
SNA’s may be placed in an Autism Class or mainstream setting or a mixture of both.
We are looking for SNA's who are energetic, enthusiastic and can contribute to our excellent working team. SNA's must also show ability to work on his/her own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school and must be available to complete Croke Park Hours throughout the school year.

Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening, completion of Children First online training and satisfactory references.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.

The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.

All positions will formally commence on Thursday 29th August but candidates who are offered a position will be required to attend a Croke Park day earlier during this week.
