An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Highly desirable requirements include;
- probation fully completed
- knowledge & experience of teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours in an ASD class
- experience of providing the July Provision Programme
- an interest in persuing professional development in the area of autism studies
- experience of setting up a Club Gaelach and promoting Comhrá agus cumarsáid na Gaeilge
- experience of setting up a Chess Club



This vacancy is a fixed-term position in an ASD Class for one year.
