Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
These SNA post(s) are being provided on a temporary basis, where schools enrol a significant number of children from Ukraine.
The allocation of SNA posts will be reviewed mid Sept 2024 based on up to date enrolment data on POD/PPOD at that point and will be adjusted upwards if the enrolments increase in line with the thresholds above.
f enrolments have dropped below the thresholds, any change to the allocation will be applied at the end of the relevant school term (e.g. Christmas 2024).
It is important to note that these post(s) are allocated on a temporary basis only and the school should not create any permanent role on the basis of these temporary hours.
The posts are effective from 01/09/2024 to 20/12/2024.
Desirable skills include:
Experience with Autism, downsyndrome, social and emtional support. Abililty to work as part of a team and willingness to display flexibility, adaptability and initiative an advantage.
