An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Carrig N.S. wishes to invite expressions of interest in a permanent vacancy, with initial duties in a multi-grade mainstream class from teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Killaloe.
An expression of interest should be forwarded to the Chairperson of the Board of
Management via post by the 7th day of July 2024 being 5 calendar days from the date of this advertisement. Envelopes should be marked 'Supplementary Panel 16166A Expression of Interest'.
In addition to any teacher that expresses an interest in the post, the school may consider other teacher(s) that are remaining on the Supplementary Panel (who had not responded with an expression of interest in the post). The filling of the post in this manner may be done with or without an interview process.
Appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements, occupational health screening, satisfactory references & Teaching Council registration.
