An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
The Board of Management of Kilkishen N.S. invites applications for a fixed-term teaching position to cover a teacher on career break.
The post will be a mainstream class teaching post teaching Second and Third class. Probation is advantageous.
The following experience is desirable:
Experience of teaching in a multi-class setting.
Applicants should show a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team, contribute to developing a positive, safe and supportive learning culture and should demonstrate a willingness to participate and promote extra-curricular activities.
Applicants must provide the contact details for a minimum of 3 professional referees (mobile numbers required).
Applications received after 5 pm on July 15th 2024 will not be considered.
Appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements, evidence of a recognised qualification in religious education, OHS and Teaching Council registration.
