An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Once shortlisting of applicants is completed, applicants will be contacted to arrange a date for the interviews to take place.
Initial duties could be in mainstream or learning support depending on the profile of successful applicant.
Balscadden NS is a fully vertical, mixed school with one of each class (no splits) situated just outside Balbriggan. We have a collaborative culture in our school with a welcoming, community feel. We have an excellent Droichead team who will support teachers through the process and their first year in teaching. Our school is high achieving with excellent parental support.
