An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

There are 3 positions to be filled. This is a competition for one permanent post and two previously advertised fixed term/specific purpose contract posts. Candidates who previously applied for these two positions need not re-apply separately for the permanent post which has now become available.
1 x Permanent:
The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on staffroom.ie on the 21st June 2024 for teacher listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Cashel & Emly. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 26th June 2024. The closing date was then extended by 2 calendar days by advertisement on the same website.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition and invites applications from suitably qualified individuals.

1 x Specific Purpose Contract (covering full year Parental Leave Sept 2024 - June 2025)
St. Mary's Central NS seeks applications from committed individuals who display a keen understanding of teaching and learning in today's challenging environment.
The successful candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work within a team and display high levels of communication.
Experience of working in a DEIS setting is also welcomed.
Applicants for these position must hold a Certificate to teach Religious Education.
Applications will be accepted by POST only and must be clearly marked TEACHING POSITION
