An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The vacant post is for a Permanent Infant Day (0.83) position and is subject to NCSE review, as with all SNA posts.

Knowledge and experience of working with children with physical, sensory, learning and complex additional needs is desirable. Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and be able to work on their own initiative as well as in a team capacity.
The successful candidate will also be required to participate in in-school training and planning outside of school hours.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the pupils and school matters at all times and to respect and uphold the school's Catholic ethos.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and completion of the on line TUSLA Child Safeguarding training. Applicants who are deemed to be on the SNA Supplementary Panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application. Any canvassing will disqualify without exception. Appointment will be subject, but not limited to satisfactory references.
