An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Please note this is for a fixed term job share arrangement covering half a post for the school year. This is a job share arrangement in a special class. Each teacher in the job share arrangement will work 5 days in every 10 school days. The successful applicant will be required to work every Thursday and Friday and alternate Wednesdays.

This vacancy is for a position in a severe and profound multiple disability class. Experience in this type of setting would be desirable but is not essential. However, enthusiasm and commitment are essential. The teacher will lead a team of 3 or 4 SNAs and will work closely with a nurse as well.
