An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Michael's G.N.S. is the base school for a Teacher Supply Panel (Ref: Circular 0059/2019).
Part time language support post (20 hours) will also be filled from this interview.
Probation is desirable.
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
Aistear, Literacy Lift-Off, Guided Reading, Running Records, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
Interest in Sport/ Music/ ICT.
All Appointments will be subject to:
Satisfactory references (minimum 3)
Teaching Council Registration
Vetting Requirements as per DES Circular 0031/2016
Occupational Health Screening
Qualifications - Candidates must provide evidence of their qualification to teach Religion.
