An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 10th day of June, 2024 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 15th day of June, 2024.
The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertising on this website to the 21st day of June, 2024.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
A recognised qualification to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is essential. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will take-up a role of Mainstream Class Teacher. We invite applications from candidates who are interested in joining the St. Brigid's team, i.e. teachers who are resourceful, flexible and interested in contributing to a collaborative work environment. Applicants should apply to stbrigidsapplications24@ticknevinns.ie on or before Thursday, 11th July ay 3pm.
