An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Kilrane NS is a primary school with a Catholic Ethos. We are a Champion School of Sanctuary. We will have 15 Mainstream Classrooms in September, alongside our 3 well established ASD classes. We also have a team of 13 Full and part time SNAs.

This advertisement is for one fixed-term SNA post (26 hours 35mins)

The Role of the SNA is as set out in DES Circular 30/2014.

The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review. It is important to be flexible as this role may change throughout the school year. We are looking for someone who is able to work as part of a team and who can be responsive to the needs of the children and the school. Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children and the school.

Appointment will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. The duties of the post will be subject to the needs of the pupils and the school and may change accordingly.
