An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Scoil Chríost Rí invites applications for five fixed-term teaching positions to cover teachers job sharing and on career break.
The posts will be both in mainstream class teaching and special education and the successful candidate will be assigned to a mainstream class or a special education teaching post in line with
our school needs and priorities. Probation is advantageous.
The following experience is desirable:
Experience of teaching in a DEIS setting and in teaching DEIS initiatives such as Literacy Lift Off, Mata sa Ranga, Guided Reading, Aistear, etc.
Applicants should show a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team, contribute to developing a positive, safe and supportive learning culture and should demonstrate a willingness to participate and promote extra-curricular activities.
Applicants must provide the contact details for a minimum of 3 professional referees (mobile numbers required).
Applications received after 5 pm on July 8th 2024 will not be considered.
Appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements, evidence of a recognised qualification in religious education, OHS and Teaching Council registration.
