Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
- evidence of strong behaviour management skills
- excellent classroom management skills
- experience of team teaching initiatives or supporting children with complex needs
- interest and experience in sport or music
Full probation would be advantageous.
It is essential that candidates supply evidence of the following along with their application:
- a recognised qualification in Religious Education
- Teaching Council confirmation of registration
Candidates being called for interview will be notified via email. Please note that only applicants that are called to interview will receive correspondence.
The successful candidate(s) may be assigned to either a mainstream class or as special education teacher. All duties will be initial and subject to change in line with the needs of our school.
We also have a vacancy for a part-time (0.5 post) fixed-term post for the 2024/2025 school year which will also commence on August 29th, 2024. This position will also be filled from this advert.
Appointments will be subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
