An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on Staffroom.ie on the 12th June, 2024 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Meath. The closing date for the receipt of expressions of interest was the 17th day of June, 2024. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on Staffroom.ie to the 20th day of June, 2024.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
There are two permanent vacancies to be filled.
Kilbride National School is a Catholic School and the successful candidate must hold a certificate to teach the Catholic religion. This is a requirement of the post.
All candidates must be registered with the Teaching Council.
The posts may be in a Special Class for children with Autism,or in a Special Educational Needs Teacher Role or in a mainstream class. Initial duties are subject to change.
The Diploma or Masters in Special Education and Learning Support or a Diploma or Masters in Autism Education would be beneficial.
The successful candidate must work as part of a very hard working and enthusiastic team and work collaboratively with colleagues to support our children.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited for interview. All candidates must attend the interview in person.
The successful candidate must attend the school for Croke Park hours on Monday 26th August.
