An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of St. Michael's Special School wishes to invite applications for the following vacancies for the coming academic year:
One full time permanent position.
One 0.5 permanent position.
One Job Share position.
St. Michael's school caters for pupils aged 4 to 18 years with a moderate or severe/profound general learning disability and /or Autism . Experience of working in a special school and knowledge and experience in positive behavioural strategies, ASD and LAMH are desirable. The ability to collaborate and work as part of a team is essential.
The positions begin on Thursday 29th August but successful candidates must be available for two Croke Park days commencing on Tuesday 26th August 2024.
Application should be made using the standard application form and letter of application. These should be submitted before 5 p.m. on 5th July 2024 by email.

Appointments will be subject to Garda vetting requirements, reference checks and Occupational Health Screening.
