An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of Ballynarry National School initially advertised this permanent vacancy online on the 12th of June, 2024 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 17th day of June, 2024. On the 18th of June the closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement online by a further two calendar days to the 20th day of June, 2024.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
Please ensure to enclose a copy of your Teaching Council Registration and proof of Garda Vetting.
Applications will only be accepted by email up to the 5th July. Postal applications will NOT be accepted.
