Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Joseph's NS is Catholic school. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate certificate to teach religion and will be expected to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school.
This is a fixed term post for the 2024-2025 school year (4 days )
The duties will include working 3 days teaching as a special education teacher (15 hours) and 1 day covering an admin day.
1 EAL day per week is currently available but will be paid separately at a substitute teaching rate.
Desirable requirements:
Previous experience in SEN
Previous teaching experience in a small multi-class setting
Team player willing to contribute to the overall development of the school.
