Athenry Primary School is a new school comprised of an amalgamation of Scoil Chroí Naofa, Athenry and Athenry Boys School.
Athenry Primary School has a number of fixed term/specific purpose contract vacancies. The vacancies arise to provide cover for a variety of teaching roles including mainstream teachers, supply teachers and support teachers.
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Athenry Primary School is the base school for the Substitute Supply Panel for the Athenry area which is operated in accordance with Circular 0059/2019. Successful candidates will be scheduled to work in a cluster of primary schools within and around Athenry. Applicants will need to be competent and proficient in teaching through the medium of Irish in Gaelscoileanna.
