POST DETAILS
Additional Information:
This is an Infant Day SNA post (i.e. 0.83 post) and the successful candidate will have initial duties in our Junior Classroom. Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and be able to work on their own initiative as well as in a team capacity. The successful candidate will also be required to participate in in-school training and planning outside of school hours.
Applicants should have qualifications in line with the Department of Education Circular 0051/2019. Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviours and additional needs are desirable.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the pupils and school at all times.
Please note that we are an island school.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening. Applicants who are deemed to be on the SNA Supplementary Panel should furnish a copy of Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
