An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This advertisement is for a fixed-term position covering a Career Break; ASD class teaching post.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience in specific teaching methodologies and interventions for children with autism would be a key requirement for this role.
Experience with implementing positive behaviour management and knowledge of PECS, Lámh, assistive communication technologies and TEACCH.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and team skills are essential.
Interests/skills /experience in music/ musical instrument / I.T/STEM activities are advantageous.
Applicants must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education. It is desirable that candidates can demonstrate how they will contribute to the overall Catholic ethos of the school.
