An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is for a mainstream class initially but the nature of the position may change due to the needs of the school and may be in a support teaching position, or our Autism class, or our class for students with Moderate General Learning difficulties.
Experience in team teaching, maths recovery and guided reading would be advantageous.
Teaching in a DEIS environment would be beneficial.
There is also one fixed-term position and a permanent position in our special class. It is not necessary to make a separate application, but you may specify which posts you are applying for in your letter of application.
The appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Medical screening.
Only those applications received on or before 2 pm on the 5th of July 2024 will be considered for shortlisting.
Only those applicants shortlisted for interview will be contacted further.
Interviews will be held in Scoil Mhuire Senior on 11/12th of July 2024.
