We are seeking 3 new staff members to join us at Woodstock ETNS

(1) Fixed -Term Developing Post: Mainstream Teacher (potential for
PERMANENT role) for Senior Infants or a 3rd/4th Class Split
(2) Fixed -Term Mainstream Teacher (1 year initially: Career break)
either in Senior Infants or a 3rd/4th Class Split
(3) 10 hours Part/Time EAL paid via OLCS

Position 1:
Mainstream Class Teacher: (Fixed-term Developing Post: with potential for Permanent status)Senior Infants or 3rd/4th class.

Desirable Skills include:
* Experience of teaching in infants or multi-grade class settings.
* Appreciation of Nurture Schooling/Restorative Practice.
* Experience of working with Additional Education Needs.
* Appreciation of the Educate Together ethos
* Knowledge and experience of working in a Developing School

This will be a ‘Fixed term’ post until the DES confirm our enrolment figures on 30th Sept 2024, it will become a Permanent post open for interview once Criterion met. * We have always reached our pupil numbers to date.

Position 2:
Mainstream Classroom position: Infants or 3rd/4th Class
(Fixed-Term role - 1 year initially : to cover Career Break)

Desirable Skills include:
* Experience of teaching in a multi-grade/Infant class settings.
* Experience of working Additional Education Needs.
* Appreciation of the Educate Together ethos
* Appreciation of Nurture Schooling/Restorative Practice.
* Knowledge and experience of working in a Developing School.
* Flexibility and teamwork skills.

Position 3: Part-time 10hrs (EAL/SET allocation) for 2024/25

Desirable Skills include:
* Experience of EAL/SET in class support and 1:1 support.
* High levels of SSF/IEP Planning and support
* Experience of working with children with Intellectual Difficulties
Autism/ADHD in the SET & Mainstream setting.
* Appreciation of the Educate Together ethos
* Knowledge and experience of working in a Developing School.
* Flexibility and teamwork skills.

* All new employees must be Garda Vetted under the new arrangements made with the Teaching Council. We must have proof of this before a teacher is allowed to take up work. Teachers will also have to complete OHS with Medmark prior to taking up the role.
