Mainstream Class Teacher:
This position is an EAL post (subject to confirmation of numbers in October 2024).
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies within a specific time period (4 months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidates.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Experience of teaching in a variety of roles.
Experience of teaching children with SEN.
The initial placement may involve deployment as a ‘supply panel’ teacher covering absences in a cluster of local schools.
Appointment is subject to current Vetting and OHS requirements.
