St. Patrick's Loreto PS is a Catholic primary school under the Patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin. Our particular school ethos derives from the values and philosophy underpinning the Loreto education tradition. The Loreto sisters have been providing primary education to the children of Bray since the 1850s. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to promoting the Loreto ethos of the school.
All applicants must be fully registered under Route 1 (Primary) with the Teaching Council and have 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised school within the Republic of Ireland.
Specific roles and responsibilities for this position relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management, as outlined in Circular 0044/2019.
The successful candidate will initially be appointed to Acting Principal for the 2024-2025 academic year.
