Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School (HCETSS) opened in August 2020 in temporary accommodation on the site of the former Greyhound Racing Stadium, Harold’s Cross.
This is also the permanent location of the school, gone to tender, which when built will accommodate 1000 students.
We are looking for a teacher of Spanish and another subject.
Given the nature of a start-up school, it is envisaged that teachers would teach a range of subjects and will contribute to the school's extra and co-curricular programme.
The successful candidate must be a team player who displays the HCETSS team attributes of humility, commitment and common sense and who is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues in creating a vibrant learning environment.
The school will also offer a coaching and mentoring programme to support staff continuous professional development as well as building leadership capacity within our school. We also offer exceptional opportunities for teachers who wish to develop their own leadership skills and apply for posts of responsibility in our school.
Students in the school use iPads and the integration of technology into learning and teaching will be an important element in the school's approach.
