The Board of Management invites applications from highly dedicated and qualified candidates for the position of SNA to join our dynamic team.
This is 0.5 of a post. A half day for 5 days a week.
The Role of The SNA is as set out in DES Circular 30/2014.
- A Level 5 or Level 6 Qualification in Special Needs Assistance.
-Autism specific training is advantageous.
-Training and experience in areas such as LÁMH, PECS, ABA, MAPA is preferable.
Candidates must be willing to uphold the Ethos of the school. The successful candidate must display a strong work ethic, flexibility, and the initiative to work independently and as part of a team. They must show a willingness to be involved in school activities.
They must always respect the dignity and confidentiality of the pupils and avail of further training as required.
The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements, confirmation of qualifications and occupational health screening.
Recent experience of an SNA role is desirable
